In Real Life

That time again . . . 5 Minute Friday with Lisa-Jo, The Gypsy Mama

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.

2. Link back here and invite others to join in.

3. Get a little crazy with encouragement for the five minuter who linked up before you.

The prompt for today is In Real Life

Ready, GO!

A handful of little misses call me Grandma
Five granddaughters  . . . such a blessing
My heart is so longing to see them more often
They live three time zones away from me and how it stings at times to miss all their daily doings, the funny little things that they say and do, the expressions on their faces.
And the last one, the little bundle that came early and needed so much prayer
Oh, to see and hold her . . .  my heart was fearful that it would not be
But thanks be to God, He made a way for her  . . . and for me
I have seen her and held her
In real life.
STOP

  1. My mother lives three time zones away, too, and I know it makes her heart ache. I'm so glad you were able to hold your newest granddaughter.

  5. Andrea Dawn,

This brought tears to my eyes because I have prayed for the littlest one and know the heart of your son's family. They bring glory to God. They are your offspring in more ways than just physical birth.

    From one grandma to another,
    Dawn
